Flowers Alley is an independent Melbourne florist founded by Lyna and James, based in Cheltenham, VIC. For over five years, we've been creating handcrafted bouquets, vase arrangements, indoor plants and gift hampers for customers across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula — delivering fresh flowers to more than 300 suburbs daily.

Our mission is simple: "Seeing beauty in every corner." We love exploring every corner of Melbourne, and are constantly inspired by the quirky neighbourhood history, the wonderful people, and the deep-rooted cultures throughout our city. With every bouquet we deliver, we're spreading a little more love across Melbourne.

Meet the Founders

James and Lyna love exploring their city, and it’s while they’re surrounded by nature that they get the inspiration for their work.

With a background in creating bespoke floral designs for weddings and events, Lyna loves playing around with different seasonal flowers, different colours, and natural elements. Her favourite style is cottage garden.

James is seeing the passion Lyna has for floristry, joined Lyna on this journey to try something new! They started their business in August 2021, from their very own kitchen table. Business exploded quickly, and soon after, they moved into their warehouse in Cheltenham in November 2021.

While Lyna is in the studio creating beautiful arrangements, James looks after the marketing and advertising that keep Flowers Alley growing — all while running his own business, Peninsula Smart Care, a Melbourne security and smart-technology installer. He still loves seeing people’s faces light up when their flowers arrive, making it a genuinely rewarding job — though he’s still working on remembering more flower names!

Who We Are

Lyna and James started Flowers Alley five years ago with a clear vision: to create a florist that genuinely cares — about the flowers, the customer, and the community. Every arrangement is handmade by our florists using the freshest seasonal blooms sourced daily. We never use pre-made bundles or off-the-shelf designs. When you order from Flowers Alley, your flowers are made to order the same day they're delivered.
