Every November our Cheltenham studio fills with the smell of pine and eucalyptus. Our Christmas wreath workshops are back for 2026, and this is everything you need to know before you book.
What you'll make
You'll build a full, fragrant fresh-foliage wreath for your front door on a 35 cm base. We start with fresh pine, eucalyptus and seasonal Australian natives from the Melbourne flower market, then layer in berries, dried accents and your choice of velvet ribbon. Every wreath comes out different, and every one comes out beautiful.
Like everything we make, it's foam-free. Your wreath is built on wire and natural materials, so it can go in the green bin when Christmas is over.
2026 Christmas wreath workshop dates
- Saturday 21 November, 10am to 12pm
- Saturday 28 November, 2pm to 4pm
- Thursday 3 December, 6:30pm to 8:30pm
- Saturday 5 December, 10am to 12pm
Each session is capped at 12 people so our florists can help everyone. Seats are $145 per person. Choose your date and book here.
What's included
- A 35 cm wreath base, fresh pine, eucalyptus and seasonal natives, berries, dried accents, wire and velvet ribbon
- Step-by-step guidance from our florists
- A glass of bubbles, mince pies and festive nibbles
- A take-home care card so your wreath lasts through Christmas
You don't need any experience. Beginners are welcome, and the workshop suits ages 14 and up.
How to make a fresh wreath last until Christmas
A fresh-foliage wreath made in late November will easily see you through to Christmas Day with a little care:
- Keep it out of direct sun. A front door under a porch or veranda is ideal. Hot afternoon sun dries foliage out fastest.
- Mist it every few days. A light spray of water on the front and back keeps pine and eucalyptus supple.
- Hang it outside, not inside. Heating and air-conditioning dry foliage quickly, so wreaths last longest outdoors.
- Let it dry gracefully. Eucalyptus and many natives dry beautifully, so by January your wreath will still look good.

Finding the studio
Our studio is at 302 Charman Road, Cheltenham VIC 3192. It's two minutes' walk from Cheltenham station, with free two-hour parking on Charman Road and behind the shop. Most of our workshop guests come from Mentone, Highett, Moorabbin, Hampton, Sandringham, Brighton and Bentleigh, and plenty travel from across Melbourne for wreath season. Please arrive 10 minutes early.

You can reschedule for free up to 48 hours before your workshop. Within 48 hours we can transfer your seat to a friend.
